Jessica (13), Sophia (7) and Olivia (11).
After Bedales I went to King's College, Cambridge. I stayed there as a student for 7 years after which it was time to face the real world and get a life. For another 7 years I worked as a doctor in various hospitals then got married to Juliet, a professional singer and musician. I then trained for general practice and settled with my family in Mickleham at the foot of Box Hill on the North Downs. For the last 8 years I have been a partner in a large and successful practice. I enjoy my work which keeps me very busy but there is no sign yet of burnout or a midlife crisis. I am very involved in teaching and training in the medical world, with a special interest in adult learning, mentoring and personal development. I also have a wanderlust which still burns strong in me. This is very limited by work and family but I still try to get away every other year. My last trip was to the Valley of the Assassins in Iran and included an attempt on Mt Alamkul (4850m).
