My apologies for not staying the course at the reunion. Like everyone, it seems, it was approached with great trepidation, and a serious dose of presenile dementia. Once a few beers had been consumed and clues given, recall flooded back. It was amazing how easy it was to exchange news/views as if one had not been away for 25years. I thoroughly enjoyed the Saturday, and took a few days to recover from the time warp, and am very grateful to the organisers for making it happen.

To those I didn't speak to - apologies, no offence, but a potted bibliography - A level results weren't up to scratch, so a boring 6months was spent slaving away to get the required grades to enter - predictably - Medical school. Qualified in 1982. Although I never demonstrated my carpentry/creative skills ( preoccupied with my more destructive skill? on the sports field, as I recall ) at Bedales, I quickly decided on a career in surgical carpentry ie Orthopaedics. After an interminable "apprenticeship" I obtained my Consultants post in Chelmsford in 1995, where I have been since.

During all that I met Anthea - a fellow medic - Yawn, yawn. We got married in 1986, and have 3 children ( 11, 9, 7 ). They seem to ensure that all free time is spent providing them with a taxi service.
